The Gathering Barn was built six years ago with a simple goal: to provide a world-class event center in the heart of breathtaking rural Wisconsin—only five miles from Lake Superior!
We both grew up in Ashland, Wisconsin, right on beautiful Lake Superior. While we both left for college, something was missing from our lives the entire time we were gone.
Missing family and home, we both independently moved back to Ashland after college. Although it was heaven to be back among the people and places who made us, something was still amiss.
One day, we ran into each other and everything that had been missing… suddenly no longer was. We KNEW we belonged together and have been inseparable ever since.
A short year later, we got engaged at the most magical place on earth, Walt Disney World!
We got married in June of 2022, and we live up every day together with our cute little French bulldog Frankie!
Now, we adore helping other couples like us experience the relaxed, beautiful magic they deserve. When we’re not planning weddings/events or working, we love to travel the world and try new food.
My passion for weddings and events is evident in my attention to every detail. That passionate focus ensures your day goes off perfectly!
I’m a tireless worker, and I do all of the maintenance and repair work on the building. All that works and shines, that’s what I do.
I also provide in-house catering services. A celebrated chef (just telling you what they tell me), I’m often sought out for private dinners and events.
